At the start of the day, we ate breakfast at the hotel. It consisted of white rice, mackerel, Japanese egg omelet, miso soup, sour plum, meat balls, and konjac (a japanese root vegetable). After breakfast, we flew from Tokyo to Hokkaido. We ate lunch at a food court in Sapporo airport. With my group, we went to yosakoi (a japanese dance festival in Sapporo). Many groups from different countries competed in this dance competition. Thank you so much for Ms. Aridomi, Ms. Irino, Ms. Walrod and the support team to make this trip a successful and wonderful unique life-time experience for the students. We as parents are very grateful. This is one of the unique strengths of the Harker School. Please let Brian Yager know about this excellent adventure.
